Privacy Policy
Last updated 7 July 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Gini Technology Co. and its related entities ("Verified Metrics", "we", "us") collect, why we collect it, and how we use the information you upload into our products and services. We respect your privacy and explain the choices you have regarding the use of your personal information, and how you can access, update, and remove it.
This policy applies to all websites we own and operate, as well as all services we provide, including verifiedmetrics.com (this marketing website), the Verified Metrics application, and app.predict.gini.co. We refer to these collectively as our "services."
By registering for or using our services, you consent to the collection, transfer, processing, storage, disclosure, and other uses described in this Privacy Policy.
Information we collect
Personal & financial information
Personal information refers to any information or opinion about an individual who is identified or reasonably identifiable. We collect personal information when you register for an account, create or modify your profile, apply for a job, or use, access, or interact with our services.
For all users, we collect contact information such as your name and email address. You may enter this information yourself, or it may be entered by an account administrator on your behalf, usually someone from your organization.
We also collect billing information, such as credit card number and billing address, from the owner of the Verified Metrics account, along with notification and marketing preferences and accounting information. Our core activity at Verified Metrics is to provide services that facilitate financial reporting, analysis, and due diligence for business entities such as companies, trusts, and others.
To achieve this, Verified Metrics allows you to import accounting information related to an entity (such as journal entries), provided directly from third-party services such as Xero and Intuit, where you have given us permission to do so. To access this data we securely store access tokens that allow us to update the accounting information in Verified Metrics on your behalf.
Log files and usage data
As with most websites and internet-based services, we gather and store certain information in log files when you interact with our websites and services. This includes your browser type, IP address, language preference, the URL of the referring site, operating system, and the date and time of each interaction. In some cases we may store your email address in the log file if necessary to perform the requested operation.
We also collect usage data automatically as you interact with our services, including search queries, pages visited, device information, and the features and actions used. This helps us understand how you use our websites and services so we can provide the best possible experience, and we may connect usage data to personal information to provide customer support or improve our services for individual customers.
When you obtain support from us, you may provide personal or commercially confidential information to help us resolve the issue, through a web form, chat, email, or phone. This information may be stored by our third-party service providers and may also be shared with the third-party service from which you imported accounting information, for troubleshooting and customer support purposes.
Cookies
On this marketing website, cookies and similar technologies are gated behind the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Nothing beyond what is strictly necessary for the site to function is stored on your device until you make a choice. Two categories apply today:
- Necessary: always active. Lets the site remember your cookie preference itself. No analytics or advertising technology is in this category.
- Analytics: off by default. If you opt in, we load Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site (pages visited, referrer, device type). We use Google Analytics for this analysis; see Google's own privacy policy for how Google processes this data, and you can use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent analytics information from being sent to Google Analytics regardless of your choice here.
You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Declining Analytics does not affect your ability to browse the site, book a consultation, or use any other feature.
We also use cookies and other tracking technologies (such as HTML5 local storage) within the Verified Metrics application itself to identify and authenticate visitors, track usage, and store preferences; most aspects of the application will not function properly without them.

We will not sell your information to any third party.
We may display your company name and logo on the Verified Metrics website and in Verified Metrics marketing materials, and state that you are a Verified Metrics customer, without revealing specifics about the services or the relationship, unless you have given us separate permission to do so (for example, an approved client story).
